Talk to your neighbours first
A friendly conversation before the notice lands makes consent far more likely. We provide a short explanatory letter that you can hand over with the notice.
What clients say
We recently used Manchester Party Wall Surveyors for a home extension in Levenshulme and couldn’t be happier with the service. They were prompt, professional, and made the whole process really straightforward. All the notices and paperwork were handled efficiently, and communication was excellent throughout. Would highly recommend to anyone needing party wall support in the area.
Common questions
Can I serve the notice by email?
Only if the neighbour has agreed to receive notices electronically. Otherwise serve by hand or post.
What if I don't know who owns the neighbouring property?
We check HM Land Registry. Where an owner can't be found, the Act allows the notice to be addressed to 'the owner' and fixed to a conspicuous part of the premises.
